The concentrations of sugars added to the medium were 20, 40, 60, or 80 g/L. Polysaccharides were added to MS medium individually. Callus was induced after culturing true leaves on MS medium prepared with 1.0 mg/L D2,4- and 0.2 mg/L BA. The results showed that adding sucrose at a concentration of 20 g/l led to a positive effect, and the highest value was for thujone and borneol compounds, reaching 135 and 154 micrograms/g dry weight of callus, respectively, while the concentration reached 40 g/g. L led to an increase in the production of Cineol1-8 121 µg/g, and the high concentration of sucrose (80 g/L) is the most effective in stimulating the production of callus. It is known that reducing sugars are aldehyde or ketone monosaccharides, the most important of which are glucose, mannose, galactose, and fructose, sugars play a vital role in metabolism, and its content in chamomile flowers means that it can be transported to carbohydrate levels in food and biological systems. The percentage of reducing sugars was determined Infrared radiation to identify the active groups of the compounds fructose and glucose (FTIR) and it appeared that they contain some aliphatic, hydroxyl and carboxyl groups
Zena Hassan Jazar Copyright (c) 2024 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://www.scholarzest.com/index.php/ejare/article/view/4494 Thu, 25 Apr 2024 00:00:00 +0000 THE IMPACT OF AGE AND PHYSIOLOGICAL STAGE ON SOME BIOCHEMICAL PARAMETERS AND IMMUNE GLOBULIN IN LOCAL AND CROSSBREED HOLSTEIN DAIRY COWS https://www.scholarzest.com/index.php/ejare/article/view/4506
This study was conducted in one of the animal fields in the Abi AlKhassib area to investigate the impact of age and physiological stage on some biochemical parameters in the serum of local and crossbreed Holstein dairy cows. A total of 32 cows, including 16 local cows and 16 crossbreed Holstein cows, aged between 3 and 6 years were used during the period between 1st December 2019 to 31th May 2020, the total period of the experiment was 6 months, divided into two physiological stages: 3 months before parturition (gestation) and 3 months after parturition (lactation). The results showed a significant (p

<0.05) increase in the concentrations of most biochemical parameters (cholesterol, glucose, triglycerides, urea, total protein, IgA, IgG, IgM, ALP) in older cows compared to younger cows, except for the ALT and AST enzyme concentrations. Pregnant cows had significantly(p><0.05) higher levels of cholesterol, triglycerides and total protein compared to lactating cows, while lactating cows had significantly (p><0.05) higher levels of glucose, urea, enzymes (ALT, AST, ALP), and immunoglobulins (IgA, IgG, IgM). Additionally, the crossbred (H×L) cows had significantly (p><0.05) higher levels in cholesterol, glucose, triglycerides, urea total protein and ALP compared to the local breed cows. Whereas, the local breed cows recorded significantly (p><0.05) higher levels of ALT and AST enzymes and immunoglobulins (IgA, IgG, IgM) in the serum compared to the crossbred cows>
Fallah Abd-Almohssien Abdalla AL-Asadi, Waleed Y. The pomegranate grown in Iraq in detail, starting with the stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits. The current study noted that the characteristics of the calyx and corolla have great taxonomic importance, in addition to the variations in the shapes and dimensions of the leaves. The study showed that the Pomegranate fruit is a false fruit, and that the fruit does not retain the remains of the calyx and stamens. The pollen grains were distinguished by their triangular holes, semi-triangular in the polar view, and oval in the equatorial view, and it was clear from their dimensions that they were small in size and light in weight, and this made them easy to spread by the wind.
